I have what appears to be a lipoma in my right rib area according to the ultrasound but now I noticed one on my left side. They are both painful?

Have it examined.: Lipomas are quite frequent and can happen almost everywhere on the body. Usually not painful but sometimes (especially if on top of the bone) may be quite painful and uncomfortable. They can be easily removed surgically. Just have it evaluated by a surgeon. The smaller the lipoma the easier it is to remove it, the smaller the scar.
