Sleep not remedy: Your sleep posture is not the remedy--it would be too easy. Postural exercise may have some benefit. If you have been on steroids there may be some structural change.

Kyphosis: Poor posture is possible, but underlying scheuermann's kyphosis is also an option. If you have a noticeable hump on your back, likely not postural. Kyphosis is an inherited disorder that results in pain that usually subsides after growth ceases. If persistent, occasionally surgical treatment is warranted. If this is more than a nag, i'd get some x-rays and have a spine specialist check.
