No big deal: This is no big deal. Just do it. And put your online searching into context; sounds like you have found some alarmist information. Limit to reliable professional sites. Doxycycline is very safe to take and very safe to stop; nothing bad will happen. If you feel you need to stop, first discuss alternative acne management with your doctor.
