Define warm weather: Hypothermia occurs when your body loses heat faster than it produces it. The most common causes of hypothermia are exposure to cold-weather conditions or cold water. But prolonged exposure to any environment colder than your body can lead to hypothermia if you aren't dressed appropriately or can't control the conditions, such as wet clothing, wind, inadequate nutrition or hydration. Yes.: Hypothermia from exposure to the elements can happen in warm weather as well. Our bodies core temperature is 98.6 Degrees--and any temperature less than that removes heat from our body. A person can become hypothermic if exposed to the elements at variable rates depending on nutritional status, health, hydration, and age. Warm and dry is very important.

No: Not unless you are wrapped in ice, or underwater (and the weather is warm, but not exposed to you).
