Needs to be checked: This needs to be looked at by a health Professional. Possibly secondary to the original problem, the surgery performed, or complications of the surgery (directly or indirectly like a clot in the blood vessels)

Ask your surgeon: Would like to help, but I have never heard of "CO2 leaking into tissues". If indeed this is swelling and is something that has just occurred after surgery, then you need to contact the person who did the procedure and ask what it is, and what you can do to make it go away. In general, swelling in legs is NOT a normal result of surgery. If there is any pain in your calves, go to the ED.
