I had swollen lymph nodes a long time ago and when i got rid of them the area between my neck and left shoulder got swollen it wasn't even painful its?

How?: I don't understand "when I got rid of them" since I don't know of any way to reduce lymph swelling (until the disease process has been controlled or faded away by itself as in the case of a viral infection) without medication. Is the swelling still present? If it has been present for more than a couple of weeks or getting worse, better consult your doctor.
