Is it normal not to have a big belly at 22 weeks but baby weights 14oz?

"belly size" ?: If this is your first pregnancy, the size of your abdomen is not much more than normal at only 22 weeks. If an ultrasound shows a normal live baby and the size is appropriate for the length of the pregnancy, the pregnancy may not have yet caused the abdomen to appear characteristically "pregnant".

Body types: The size and shape of the pregnant abdomen is going to be different for everyone. Factors include your body type, shape, weight and height. A sonogram is going to be a much more accurate way of assessing the growth of the baby. At 22 weeks a doctor can feel the top of your uterus just beyond your bely button when you are laying flat.
