What does abnormal urine culture mean? i've been using ciprofloxacin for the last week for a uti infection. lately not much improvement.

Confirm UTI? Or STD?: It sounds like the culture just confirmed your UTI. However, UTIs are uncommon in males your age. Are you sure it wasn't a urine test for gonorrhea or chlamydia? These STDs, or nongonococcal urethritis (NGU) are often misdiagnosed as UTI and are much more common. Check back with your doctor.
