Night sweats: No, this isn't "normal" -- but it still is probably just the effect of your viral infection. Drenching night sweats usually mean continuing fever that breaks during the night. But if this continues a few more days, discuss with your doctor. Maybe you have some other kind of infection rather than the virus, or in addition to it. Good luck!
