It should: Sometimes LP sites continue to leak spinal fluid causing headaches. In those cases an anesthesiologist can use your own blood to create a blood patch and stop the leak. If all your pain is just at the site of the puncture then range of motion exercises are crucial so you don't lose your ability to bend as much as before. If you still have problem at 2 months, see a physical therapist right away.
