What could cause a severe stabbing pulsing pain in central lower back, it happened after a confrontation traumatic for me, crippling pain?

Needs immediate eval: This sound like nerve pain secondary to any trauma ; however, demands further evlation including xray and MRI of the spine. I would caution immedaite evlauation by orthopedics. Ok to use aleve (naproxen) if you are not allegic or taking blood thinners. Do not ignore this pain.
