Hi, i've just been diagnosed with an ovarian cyst which is measuring 6.8cm. i have no symptoms or pain will i need it removed?

Depends: Althought the cyst is large it is asymptomatic. See your gynecologist. Cysts up to 10cm as long as they are simple cysts are managed conservatively.. No other considerations are the character of the cyst and if it is complex or not. If the cyst is simple and you are asymptomatic there is a good chance you will need no surgery.
