Muscle spasm: In all likelihood, chest pain that ocurs for a short time and resolves spontaeously in the setting of normal tests is often muscle spasm. It's reassuring that it's been happening for years without a negative outcome. Consider seeing your doctor again if the symptoms persist for another EKG and to consider further investigation.
