Hello. i dropped a box on my hand yesterday. there is quite a bit of bruising (most of the hand and knuckles) and swelling. pain on bruise?

Needs X Ray: This is most likely a soft tissue injury however you need to see a doctor if the swelling, bruising and pain are worsening. You could have sustained a small fracture in one of the bones/joints of the hand therefore you need an X ray to rule it out. In the meantime I would recommend taking some anti inflammatories and using an arm sling to elevate your hand to reduce the pain and swelling.
