Probably not: You are probably experiencing excessive vagal stimulation before and after bowel movements, with is resulting in the dizzyness and lightheadedness. To be on the safe side, you could consider getting an EKG with your doctor, just to be absolutely sure you are not experiencing any irregular heart rhythms.

Feeling dizzy &: lightheaded is an uncommon but very real response to a bowel movement. However, it's more common in people who have some underlying problem that might make these symptoms worse. Dehydration, anemia, and certain nervous system & cardiovascular problems may contribute. You need to see a doctor. Please don't be embarrassed by this. Dr. Anne
