All is good: Listening to heart sounds is not very sensitive. If you had an echo and that was normal I wouldn't worry. The Echo is much more sensitive and specific than just listening with a stethoscope.

Yes: this does happen occasionally and usually means that the murmur/click that the Doctor heard is not "significant" enough to affect the ECHO! The only question is whether you should take prophylactic antibiotics (for Dental work etc) Ask your Doctor...perhaps a visit to a Cardiologist? Hope this helps! Dr Z
