My doctor heard a heart murmur the other day. i will follow up with her in a few weeks. i had an echo 14 months ago in the er for chest pain, came back ok. i do have high cholesterol 251. what are my odds on having a valve problem now?

Cannot give you the odds, though mitral valve prolapse is one possibility, other being calcific aortic stenosis. 36 m - No prior heart problems. Had heart murmur when I was a kid then closed. Been having aching paint left side chest nipple area comes and goes. Went to heart doc they listened to lungs and said was clear. Could it be muscular? Bp is good?
