Bacteriuria: Asymptomatic bacteriuria exists when there are bacteria in the urine but no symptoms. Current management advice is not to treat with antibiotics. Small number of bacteria may come and go in urine, may have come from the surrounding skin, and are not particularly harmful to a generally healthy person.
