See doctor...: Your mother has cardiac disease and is 87 years old. Now she has respiratory symptoms. In someone this age with cardiac disease, even a respiratory viral infection can easily become life-threatening. Take her to a doctor ASAP for evaluation and treatment. Best of luck to both of you!
