POSTNASAL DRIP: Postnasal drip is a sign of sinusitis. It is accompanied by headache, tender sinuses and nasal congestion. You need decongestant like benadryl, (diphenhydramine) allegra, zyrtec, Claritin and antibiotics like amoxil, zithromax, etc. Sinus rinse helps clean the sinuses of purulent discharges.
