Yes and : While you're waiting to see your doctor, start stretching every hour you're sitting, get up, move your legs, bend down, then get up and raise your arms all the way up. Also use a lumbar support in your chair and make sure your posture is good while you're sitting down. Daily exercise and twice weekly yoga also helps improve your posture and revers nerve impingement you might have.
