What causes B12 deficiency? Blood test-B12=158, B6=2.4, folate=12.5, Homocysteine=12.9. I eat a balanced diet. On 325 of aspirin to prevent more DVTs.
I recently had covid and Dr.did blood work. liver function are normal. My B12 was elevated at 1389. Also I used a urine dipstick test and it showed slightly elevated bilirubin. I was on azithromycin for pneumoina. Could that have damaged my liver?
My mom is 66 and has elevated homocysteine levels. B12 and folate (folic acid) are normal. On BP meds but systolic still high. Any thoughts or suggestions?
