For the last couple of days i have been passing urine much more frequently. my blood sugars are high and i have had ketones, but no sign of infection.

Diabetes control: Poorly controlled diabetes, with high blood sugar, causes increased urination, and presence of ketones suggests control is dangerously poor. You need to reduce your blood glucose level ASAP. Let your doctor know immediately and follow her advice.
