Check blood sugar: Check your physician. Frequent urination could be a sign of high blood sugar (diabetes). Protein in urine could be a sign of kidney damage. Ketones build up when the body needs to break down fats and fatty acids to use as fuel. This also can happen in patients with diabetes mellitus. There are other possibilities, but you should visit a doctor for final diagnosis and treatment.
