Criteria for MS: Hi JeriS, Typically symptoms related to MS are on one side of the body but can be both sides as well occasionally. The symptoms typically go away followed by a period with no symptoms followed by returning of symptoms perhaps elsewhere in the body. If this is the scenario you are experiencing then you may need to consult with a Neurologist who can guide you in the right direction. Best of luck
