Probably not: I rarely recommend taking Xanax daily for any period of time. It is meant to be used only as needed. However, dependence and withdrawal symptoms typically do not occur until after about 1 month of regular use. Some people are more sensitive, though, and will have increased anxiety after discontinuing even a 2 week course of Xanax.
