Hi doc..i just want to ask if the pain im feeling on my groin is normal..i had a d&c 12days ago..my bleeding stop...cramping also stop only that pain ?

D&C Pain: Complications such as a damaged cervix and perforated uterus or bowel are rare. But be sure to contact your doctor if you have any of the following symptoms after a D&C: Heavy or prolonged bleeding or blood clots Fever Pain Abdominal tenderness Foul-smelling discharge from the vagina Contact your GYN doctor.

Cramp post D&C: In most cases its expected that 12 days post D&C cramping would have stopped . It would be good idea to consult doctor for examination , swabs and repeat pelvic USS to rule out any retained products of conception and infection .

Follow up exam: Typically a gynecologic exam is recommeded 1 - 2 weeks after a D&C to address any problems that the D&C may have caused.
