OB MD dilemma: The baby may look fine on ultrasound but the bleeding and cramping suggests a concern about a possible baby loss through miscarriage. Your OB MD has a dilemma in that there is nothing that can be done at this point, short of "bedrest and minimal activity", but to wait for the bleeding to stop or not. If the placenta is lying low in the uterus, this too can cause your problem.
