Pain near the right rib cage when inhaling and bending.have phlem and cold. what could be the reason. what could it be?. not vaccinated for hep b?

Strained muscles?: I am not certain but would suspect that coughing/sneezing may have caused some strain of the muscle attachment at the edge of your rib cage. OTC cough medicines such as mucinex-dm or delsym may help your cough. Motrin/Advil/Aleve may help with pain for few days. If persistent longer than a week or so, get evaluated. You can also then address potential need for hep B vaccination etc.... Good luck
