Normal bacteria: Something doesn't compute. Mycoplasma hominis is an entirely normal bacteria, present in almost everyone's genital tract at one time or another. It is harmless. There is no such thing as being "diagnosed" with it, and it doesn't need treatment. Discuss again with your doctor. If you haven't seen a genitourinary medicine (GUM) specialist, do that next.
