Likely anxiety...but: Without knowing more about your physical symptoms, it's difficult to say. Getting basic labwork and a physical exam is a good idea. But, anxiety is known to cause weight loss and is much more common than any type of cancer. Be sure to follow-up about medications. If you are tolerating Paxil it may nee to be increased as that is a starting dose. Anxiety is also very responsive to psychotherapy.
