Not sure.. depends.: Effient (Prasugrel) has some minor differences with competitors like Brilinta & Eliquis (and aspirin), but this depends on the individual. For instance, Effient shouldn't be used if you are underweight, elderly, etc. Of the alternatives, Brilinta is preferred over Plavix as shown in a head-to-head trial. (To my knowledge, there's no other head-to-head comparison). TTYD if you want to switch 4 $$.

Effient: Clopidogrel isn't a generic drug in the same class costing less. ;some individuals though are non responsive to it;a fact check able by blood test,go talk to your prescriber regarding ongoing indication and alternates
