Managing stress: Stress can certainly affect blood pressure. It's hard to do things that overnight will change things very significantly, since the effects of stress tend to occur and build up over time. Deep breathing, staying calm, getting a good night's sleep, avoiding coffee/caffeine and other stimulants, and limiting salt intake can all help to lower blood pressure.
