I need to know.i have tried everything possible, and was unable to do my bloodwork due to my exreme phobia. can general anesthesia be used to assist.

Blood work phobia: A general anesthetic is far too risky to allow someone to draw your blood work. Your primary physician could likely prescribe a sedative that will make you less anxious and get a blood draw less traumatic.

No: I understand you fears and concerns, but there is no way that an anesthetic will be performed to draw blood as there is too high of a risk for you. In any case most anesthetics in adults use an iv, and only rarely would other techniques be used. I would suggest you talk to a psychiatrist or psychologist to see if they have any suggestions to overcome this phobia. Your pcp might prescribe something.
