Appendix?: Could be a number of things. Sometimes appendicitis starts centrally in the abdomen and then moves to the right lower quadrant. So, watch out for that. If there are other symptoms, of nausea, vomiting or diarrhea, definitely seek further evaluation by a physician. Other signs to not wait any longer for an exam are fever, blood in the stool.
