For a couple of days now my daughter has been getting random temperatures (38.5) along with a sore tummy around her belly button and a headache.

Varies: There's a long differential on those symptoms. Could be anything from food poisoning to a viral infection to appendicitis, etc. I would recommend an evaluation by her pediatrician, where they can check her vital signs, do a physical and some blood work.
