<15 million/ml...: Oligospermia denotes the sperm concentration in semen as sperms per ml is insufficient for fertilization; traditionally, <20 milliom sperm/ml has been used as the limit of definition; currently, 10-20 million sperm/ml is considered to be mild, 5-10 million sperm/ml is moderate, and <5 million sperm/ml is severe.

Too few sperm: In short, oligospermia means to a few sperm being produced. The world health organization defines oligospermia as less than 20 million sperm per ml of semen. Less sperm per ejaculate means a lower chance of conception
