Compulsive: behaviors are those things we do repeatedly and usually unnecessarily. We can obsess (repeated thoughts) and compulse (behaviors) together, e. g., excessive washing. This becomes more frequent under stress or when we feel out of control. Extremes of this is called Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. A mental health professional is recommended to learn ways to cope. Peace and good health.
