Can't tell: Without being able to examine you this is not an answerable question. Basic bone structure will not change without surgery, but moving teeth and supporting bone can result in facial drape change. A qualified Orthodontic Specialist can answer this question for you after an examination. Please schedule an examination.

Not really: For the most part, braces move teeth, not the face. We can make minimal changes in the width of the face (expanders) when the patient is growing, or back and fourth dimension of the upper jaw (facemask). As we move teeth, lip position does change though, but in the upper lip, it is about 1mm for every 5mm tooth movement and for the bottom 1 for 1. Although jaw relationship can get messed up.

Yes: for the better! It can improve your smile, the way your lips sit on your teeth and your overall facial structure

Face Strurcture: Normally, unless there is some sort of jaw expansion, especially as an adult, there should be minimal facial changes. HOWEVER, for patients who cannot properly close their lips and have extractions, facial changes do in fact take place for the better. Always explain to your orthodontic specialist your concerns and desires BEFOREE treatment begins.
