Odor is very subjective. What one woman (or her sex partner) might consider "noticeable" might be entirely normal; and odor can vary over the course of the menstrual cycle. If there has been no change, probably nothing is wrong. The most common abnormal vaginal odor is "fishy"; when present, she should see a doctor to be checked for bacterial vaginosis and other infections.
