Needs evaluation: The risk of sleeping in contacts is the development of a deposit of bacteria in the space between the lens and the front of your eye. This is increased with sleeping in the lens. If the vision is blurry , and the eye is red or painful, then you should see an ophthalmologist (not an optometrist) right away.
