You're healing: This is expected. The RDW reflects how much your red cells vary in size. With iron deficiency getting worse and then getting better over the period, average size MCV may stay about the same but your cells are now a mix of iron deficient littke cels and iron-rich big cells. Or some ogre factor may be operating.
