My tsh was just outside of normal at about 5 and was started on thyroid meds. synthroid (thyroxine) 50 then upped.to 75. i terrible and gained a lot of lbs.

Gained weight: Something does not sound correct. It is hard to understand why Synthroid (thyroxine) upped at 75 is associated with a lot of weight. Please see your Endocrinologist about this as soon as possible.
