Slow heart rate: Many people with heart rate monitors seem to be worrying because their heart rate is "slow" -- less than 60, for example. In healthy young people who exercise this is totally normal. Slow heart rate can be a concern if there is lightheadedness, fatigue, or fainting, and these would be much more common in elderly patients.
