I would say so: But it all depends on how you feel when using it. If it feels good, it may be the best thing you can do for your back. If it makes anything hurt, go very slowly and stop if it seems to cause persistent discomfort. Congrats though on keeping active ANY WAY THAT YOU CAN. It is the best thing you can do for arthritis of any kind, not to mention prevention of cardiovascular disease and Alzheimers.

Too little hex: Age with djd would imply you may be overweight, possible autoimmune condition, probable thyroid condition, etc .... Based on what I see here. Good thing I'd it shows you care about your health. However, I would recommend a fitness center with more available cardio machines. So basically would need to see more history. Check with your pcp who has all your history to best answer your question.
