Possibly...: If pubic lice (crabs) are causing the itching, you should be able to see lice an nits (eggs). The nits look like tiny while spots attached to pubic hairs. The lice can be difficult to see, especailly in dark skinned persons; they appear as apparent flat brown spots (about 1 mm) on the skin next to pubic hairs (use bright light and a magnifying glass). If in doubt, see a doctor.
