A member asked:

There's always this pocket of fluid on my upper back, it usually itches. it also pinches, dr says it's musculoskeletal. xrays normal should i worry?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nerve irritability: These sensations probably represent irritability of superficial nerves or muscles in your upper back. Impingement on a nerve root can also be caused by pressure by a spur or bulging disk in a vertebral area. If you have continued concerns, consult a neurologist for evaluation and advice.
