Several: Cramping suggests extra squeezing effort by the intestine.That can be triggered by a reaction to food,injury to the gut from a germ (virus or bacteria) in the intestine, or effort to move sluggish poo along in the lower intestine. Food reactions or constipation usually have no associated fever.Germs may have associated fever.
