stomach cramps, pain in back, and burning feeling in stomach after eating potatoes or potato soup. feels like inside is expanding. any ideas?

Maybe allergic: If the only food you cannot tolerate is potatoes, then you might be allergic. If you can tolerate them in some forms, though, that is another story and is not so easy. For now, stay away. Ask your doc. It could be worse! you could be gluten intolerant. Also potato starch is in a lot of packaged foods and some crackers and bread, so read labels. If eliminating potatoes, and still sick see MD
