A member asked:

Is it possible to get c diff by using a clindamycin facial treatment for acne?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

NO: Caused by oral or injection of clindamycin, not by topical. Note, however, that it is not wise to use clindamycin as the only treatment. It is not much effective as a solitary treatment and that this type of use results in resistance by C. Acnes bacteria. But it will never cause C. Diff.
